Rules that govern your use of YEB

1. Introduction

Welcome to yeb.to, a service provided by NETOX Ltd. By accessing or using YEB (the "Platform") you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not accept them, please refrain from using the service.

1.2 Acceptance of Terms

By using YEB you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms as well as all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Definitions

  • "YEB" – the website yeb.to, applications and APIs operated by NETOX Ltd.
  • "Services" – all functionality offered by YEB (articles, premium sections, translations, etc.).
  • "User" – any individual or entity using the Services.
  • "Subscription" – a paid plan unlocking additional features or usage caps.
  • "Payment" – a one-time donation/support transaction processed via Stripe.
  • "Credits" – prepaid, non-refundable units that can be exchanged for API, tool or app usage.

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old – or have parental consent – and comply with all applicable laws when using YEB.

4. Accounts

Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activities that occur under your account.

5. Subscriptions and One-time Payments

Paid plans and donations are handled by Stripe. Prices, caps, renewal and refund rules are shown during checkout and in your dashboard.

5.1 Credit System

  • All APIs, tools and apps consume Credits. One credit currently costs $0.10.
  • A single request may cost one whole credit or a fraction; some endpoints allow 1,000 requests for just 1 credit.
  • The exact credit cost is returned in every API/tool response. It is your responsibility to monitor usage and remaining balance.
  • Credits are non-refundable. Partial goodwill refunds may be considered only when our system malfunctions and returns errors.
  • You are purchasing credits – not a guarantee that any specific API, tool or app will remain available.
  • We may change pricing, modify, rate-limit or discontinue any API, tool or app at any time without notice. No refunds or charge-backs will be issued in such cases.
  • We do not guarantee specific latency. Performance depends on load, network conditions and your integration.
  • Flooding, unlawful use or failure to implement reasonable back-off may lead to an immediate, permanent ban without refund.

5.2 Credit Expiration (Use-it-or-Lose-it)

  • Validity period: All purchased credits (including fractional balances) are valid for 12 months from the purchase date.
  • Expiry and deletion: Unused credits automatically expire and are permanently deleted at 00:00 UTC on the day after the validity period ends. Expired credits cannot be restored or converted to cash or other value.
  • First-in, first-out (FIFO): Credits are consumed in the order they were purchased.
  • Visibility: Your dashboard shows purchase dates and corresponding expiry dates; you are responsible for tracking and using your credits before they expire.
  • No suspension pause: Account suspension, inactivity, or service changes do not pause or extend expiry dates.
  • Promotional credits: Trial, promo, or complimentary credits may have shorter validity windows as stated at issuance and also expire automatically.
  • Transitional rule (one-time): For credits purchased before 22 September 2025, the 12-month period is deemed to start on 22 September 2025 and ends on 22 September 2026, unless an earlier expiry was explicitly stated at purchase.

5.3 Fair Use & Rate Limiting

  • Per-endpoint baselines: Each API endpoint or tool may have its own baseline rate limits published in documentation or shown in your dashboard. These figures are indicative, not guaranteed.
  • Dynamic throttling: To protect the Platform, limits may be adjusted in real time based on overall system load, abuse signals, or maintenance. You may receive 429 (Too Many Requests) or 503 (Service Unavailable) even if you believe you are within baseline limits.
  • Scopes: Rate limiting can be enforced at multiple scopes (API key, account, IP/subnet, organization, endpoint, or global) and may include concurrency caps and burst shaping.
  • Retry policy: If throttled, you must back off using exponential delays and respect any Retry-After header (when present). Automated retries must include jitter and a hard cap on attempts.
  • Good citizenship: Use caching, batching and conditional requests where possible; avoid tight polling; prefer webhooks when offered.
  • Monitoring: Your dashboard (when available) surfaces current usage and soft/hard throttles; you are responsible for monitoring and staying within Fair Use.
  • Prohibited circumvention: Rotating keys, fans-out across multiple IPs, or other attempts to bypass controls violate these Terms and may lead to suspension without refund.
  • Changes: We may revise enforcement strategies and limits at any time without notice; continued use constitutes acceptance.

6. Permitted and Prohibited Use

Among other things, you agree not to:

  • Violate any laws or third-party rights;
  • Reverse-engineer or overload the Platform;
  • Submit unlawful, defamatory or harmful content;
  • Exploit AI-generated output to spread misinformation.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Outputs are generated by machine-learning models and may contain inaccuracies. Always verify important information independently.

8. Privacy

9. Limitation of Liability and Credits Restoration

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NETOX Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages arising from your use of YEB, including but not limited to lost profits, business, opportunities, or data.

YEB operates on a credit-based system. Users purchase credits, which are then consumed when using our APIs, tools, or apps. You are not purchasing access to any specific API, tool, or app, and we may discontinue, update, or change features at any time without notice.

In the event of technical errors on our side (e.g., a system failure resulting in credit loss for a request that did not return a usable result), our responsibility is strictly limited to restoring the affected credits to your account. No cash refunds or other monetary compensation will be given under any circumstance. Restoration of credits is provided only at our discretion, after technical investigation confirms a system-level error on our end.

Our total aggregate liability is capped at the greater of €100 or the amount paid by you in the preceding 6 months. Users have no claim for damages beyond restoration of credits.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by Bulgarian law. Disputes shall be settled by arbitration under the Arbitration Court of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sofia. Language: English.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as needed. Significant changes will be announced via the Platform or e-mail. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
